Monitoring & Evaluation

Our Monitoring & Evaluation teams play an integral role in ensuring our teams delivery only the highest quality aid. They are responsible for gathering and analysing project data, reporting on programmatic successes, and defining areas for improvement. They also regularly train staff in how to effectively gather qualitative and quantitative data and analyse the results.

We look for experienced professionals who...

  • Hold a higher-level degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in the areas of Public Health, International Development, or another related Social Science
  • Have previous experience (ideally within a development or emergency context) developing assessments and designing and implementing surveys
  • Are proficient in data management software, such as SPSS, STATA, EPI-INFO and/or SMART-ENA
  • Are able to establish and maintain systems that measure, compile, and analyse qualitative and quantitative data for project management
  • Possess training and skills in project management, budget management, and people managementespecially the teaching, training, and empowering of other staff

MEAL Manager

ROC Required
The MEAL Manager supports the provision of timely and appropriate NFI, Health, MHPSS, WASH and Shelter assistance for the Ukrainian population. The MEAL Manager is responsible for assessments and MEAL activities within the programme. They manage and oversee MEAL staff, as well as internal and external referrals.

Medair Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) – November 2024

ROC Required
The ROC is an intensive experiential orientation to relief work with Medair. This 7 day course is held three/four times a year. Participants experience the challenges of relief work through practical simulations and become familiar with Medair’s values, projects, and country programmes. Each participant will be interviewed by a senior member of the Medair Human Resources team to evaluate the week and discuss their possible future with Medair in a field programme. The course is normally held in Switzerland.

Medair’s Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC) is a one-week simulation course that will help determine if a humanitarian career with Medair is the right fit for you, and if you are a strong fit for Medair. After participating in the course, you will enter a “pool” of qualified candidates that are ready to be called upon to respond to humanitarian crises. When needs arise in our country programmes, we will offer you a position in line with your competencies and our needs. If you apply for an international position, the ROC will be mandatory for you to work in our country programmes.
