A spotlight on a forgotten crisis

2026-09-09
Online

Around the world, millions of people are living through humanitarian crises that rarely make the headlines. These are we what we call  "forgotten crises."

You won't see them on your nightly news.

They won't show up on your social media feed.

Yet they're still there. This fall, join Medair as we talk to folks working in one of our most unique country programs.

On average, Madagascar gets hit by three severe natural disasters every year. Add to this a large population that lives on less than $2 a day and you have one of the most difficult places in the world in which to live.

Join us for an hour at 12pm ET, 9am PT to hear from Gareth Hughes, our International Program Director and Tessa Jean-Pierre, our Madagascar Country Director.
