Role Summary
The Senior Application Analyst/Administrator supports Medair by analyzing and managing application systems to improve processes and implement technological changes. This includes resolving technical issues, user administration, system configuration, and providing technical support for the Medair Human Capital Management (HCM) tool and other systems managed by the Support Systems and Integration Team (SSIT).
Project Overview
Global ITS provides centralized governance, strategy, direction, innovation, and support for Medair’s use of information technologies, aligning them with the organization's strategy. This team ensures cost efficiency, integration, and supports Global IT services across Global Support Office and all Medair country programs.
Workplace & Conditions
Global Support Office (GSO) position based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Swiss or eligible EU citizens, or those with a valid work permit for Switzerland.
Responsibilities
• Configuration and managing Medair HCM software and other systems, translating business needs into technical solutions, ensuring system security, and overseeing implementation and validation.
• Participate in business process analysis, identify improvements, manage requirements, and enhance Medair’s systems for efficiency and alignment across functions.
• Provide user support, stay updated on system features, and conduct training.
• Plan and prioritize projects using appropriate methodologies and communication strategies.
Qualifications, Experience & Technical Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of SaaS platforms configuration such as Salesforce, Jira, HCM Systems and Office 365 applications is essential.
• Experience in developing processes and creating end-user documentation.
• Strong verbal and presentation skills for leading workshops and training.
