Bietet Medair Praktika oder ehrenamtliche Tätigkeiten an?

Für die Arbeit in unseren Länderprogrammen setzen wir Berufserfahrung voraus. Auch sollten Sie in der Lage sein, sich für ein Jahr zu verpflichten. Aus diesem Grund bieten wir keine Praktika in unseren Länderprogrammen an. Dennoch würden wir uns freuen, wenn Sie sich nach Abschluss Ihres Studiums und dem Sammeln weiterer Berufserfahrung bewerben würden.

Wir bieten jedoch gelegentlich Praktika an unserem internationalen Hauptsitz in der Schweiz an, über die Sie hier mehr erfahren können. Kann ich mich bewerben, wenn ich keine Erfahrung in der humanitären Hilfe habe?

Angesichts der schwierigen Rahmenbedingungen, in denen wir arbeiten, ist es wichtig, dass unsere Mitarbeitenden mit der humanitären Arbeit vertraut sind, bevor sie in eines unserer Länderprogramme eintreten. Daher setzen wir für die Arbeit in unseren Länderprogrammen mindestens ein Jahr Berufserfahrung in ihrem Beruf und/oder Ihrem Studienfach voraus. Bei Personen, die ihr Studium gerade abgeschlossen haben, aber über umfangreiche Vorerfahrungen durch Praktika verfügen, können wir im Einzelfall eine Ausnahme machen. Hier erfahren Sie mehr über die wesentlichen Kriterien, die wir für die Arbeit in unseren Länderprogrammen voraussetzen.

Sind für die Arbeit bei Medair bestimmte Sprachkenntnisse erforderlich?

In einer multinationalen Organisation wie Medair werden zwar eine Vielzahl von Sprachen gesprochen. Englisch ist jedoch unsere Hauptarbeitssprache. Daher verlangt Medair, dass internationale Angestellte, deren Muttersprache nicht Englisch ist, über gute Englischkenntnisse (B2-Niveau) verfügen.
